Three core tests for safety regulations

1?? Voltage Withstand Test (Dielectric Strength)

? Purpose: To verify that the insulating material can withstand the high-voltage “shock”, to prevent leakage of electricity caused by electric shock!

? Detailed steps:

① Equipment inspection: make sure the voltage tester is functioning properly before powering on to avoid misjudgment!

② Power isolation: pull out all the power plugs, completely disconnected!

③ Wiring operation:

- Wiring operation: three-phase plug fire and zero wire screwed together, connected to the tester high-voltage output line;

- Ground wire connected to the tester ground interface;

④ Pressurization observation:

- Pressurization observation: adjust the voltage to 1.5kV, keep 60 seconds, once the alarm → insulation has holes!

- Advanced test: ground line to the fire zero line, high-voltage output connected to the carbon fiber plate (copper foil auxiliary), adjusted to 4kV, if there is a fire or breakdown, directly ruled unqualified!

2?? ground resistance test

? Purpose: To check whether the equipment “l(fā)ife ground” is smooth, faults can conduct current in seconds!

? Operation points:

① Power on self-test, connect the black ground wire to the grounding terminal, the red wire to the metal shell of the device;

② adjust the current to 25A, resistance ≤ 0.2Ω is qualified! Resistance value is too high = grounding is virtually non-existent!

3?? leakage current test

? Purpose: To monitor the equipment “sneaky leakage”, to protect the safety of patients and health care!

? Test method:

Test method: Normal power equipment, leakage current tester to monitor:

- Leakage current to ground: the current flowing to the earth;

- Patient leakage current: direct contact with the patient's equipment, in particular, should be strictly controlled!

?? Exceeding standard limits = “electric tiger”, must be rectified!

- Insulation resistance: GB 9706.1 also requires the measurement of insulation resistance, checked with a megohmmeter!
